The Counseling Ministry of First Baptist Church of Texarkana is once again offering a wide array of support groups as a part of Life Healing. The groups meet each Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Groups offered include:
DIVORCE CARE: This group provides support and direction for participants to begin to heal and restore balance in their life during and/or after divorce.
GRIEF SHARE: This group offers valuable information combined with group discussion to support, comfort and encourage those traveling the journey through grief.
ADDICTION RECOVERY: If you are struggling with addiction, there is hope! Groups are available for both men and women as you are encouraged and helped on the road to recovery.
ADDICTION RECOVERY FOR FAMILIES: We have a group available for family members whose loved one is struggling with various forms of addictions.
EMOTIONAL RECOVERY: This group is for women who are struggling with negative and destructive emotions from past hurt and/or abuse.

First Baptist Church is privileged to have on our staff a Christian counselor, Mrs. Ada Ferguson. Counseling is based on biblical principles with practical application. Mrs. Ferguson is a graduate of the University of Texas and Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia. Church members may make a counseling appointment by contacting Debbie Chapman at 903-831-6000.
